I’ve missed posting a lot of this year. One of the reasons was Meekas whelp was a little heartbreaking for me. And then just before Alpha was 3 weeks old, I was in a car accident. We hit a huge tree. In hospital for 3 days. It’s taken months to recover and I’m still having pain and numbness in my leg. So if you’re interested here’s what you missed.
Meeka’s boys, Alpha & Omega, were born in January. Sadly we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put Omega to sleep, as he was born with no anise. It was extremely hard. I was heartbroken.
I was so proud of little Alpha. He found an amazing home with Maple’s (from Indi x Re*****on litter) family. So incredibly greatful that he found such a beautiful home.
Our young girls had their first Easter and looked very cute in their bandannas.
We had Lyra come on heat earlier than expected. Unfortunately she spiked quickly and the vet didn’t give us the results in time to get her to the stud we’d chosen.
Indi also had her heat. My sister drove her up to do a repeat mating with Re*****on but unfortunately when we did the ultrasound at 4 weeks she wasn’t pregnant.
