⭐⭐⭐ We are BREEDERS ⭐⭐⭐
Our everyday life is about dogs.
While our friends are on vacation or having family celebrations, we spend our time preparing for the birth of puppies or looking after litters and dogs. Its really hard to have a proper vacation! Because it's really hard to trust our dogs to someone else. Nobody knows them better than we do. All of our plans refer to birth dates, puppies and vet appointments.
Most weekends year round, while you are sleeping in, we are often up in the dark preparing for a dog show so we can have confirmation that our dogs meet their breed standards and that we are not just mating dogs together to make cute pet puppies.
Most of our friends are breeders too, because only they can understand and support this kind of life.
Before birth, we don't sleep two or three days (sometimes even longer) because we support and care for the future mother.
As each puppy comes, we pray that it is healthy and strong. If something is wrong with the puppy, we fight for his life for hours, days or weeks. Sometimes puppies are dying in our hands. This is the worst thing that can happen to a breeder. This breaks our hearts into a million pieces and these memories never fade.
Sometimes we sleep for a month or more next to the litter box with mum and puppies to monitor the litter every minute... we're actually not sleeping much this month.
Our vets know us by our first name.
Not everyone gets our puppies. Not at all. By the time their future homes are selected it is as though we gave birth to them ourselves and we will accept only the very best of homes for them. Every puppy that leaves us takes a piece of our heart with them. Our puppy owners are our family.
Money is not made sitting on our asses like some people think. Every penny we take is earned with a lot of work, tears, stress, blood and sacrifices. We don’t work 8 or 10 hours then go home to relax on the couch and watch tv, we infact work full time jobs in order to financially support this passion.
Any funds received will be spent again on dogs and our breeding program. It's a cycle.
Our house is not perfectly clean. Never. And our clothes and possessions are inevitably full of dog hair but this is our life and we wouldn't change it for anything.
