I loved this moment from today.

Something I’ve really taken from my Equitation Science International training is just how much our timing and consistency matter to horses. Clear aids, rewarding the right response and making sure we aren’t accidentally giving conflicting signals can completely change the way a horse and rider communicate.

When the communication gets clearer, you can feel the difference. Things soften, the rider gains confidence and the horse starts looking for the answer rather than guessing.

That’s always what I’m chasing in my lessons - not perfection, just better communication and a happier partnership.

Connection first, everything else follows 🤍

🌟 Competition Success for Quinn & Snoopy! 🌟
After plenty of hard work and preparation in the arena, Quinn Bourke stepped out at her first dressage competition NCEC Cancer Fundraiser T-Shirt Dressage Day with her beloved pony, Snoopy, and brought home an impressive 70.6%! 🐴✨

This result is a reflection of Quinn’s dedication, commitment, and the partnership she has built with Snoopy. It has been wonderful as a coach to watch her confidence and skills develop, and this achievement is so well deserved.

A huge congratulations to Miss Quinn on a fantastic first competition result. We are incredibly proud of you both and can’t wait to see what the future holds! 🌸🦄
