Forget the gold rush… apparently we’re in the truffle rush!

Turns out your dog’s nose could be worth more than you think.

Dogs are being trained to sniff out black truffles — and it’s a great reminder that our dogs are pretty clever creatures when we give them a chance to use the skills they were born with.

Sniffing isn’t just a walk…
It’s brain work, enrichment, problem-solving and pure doggy joy. 👃🧠💚

So next time your dog stops to sniff that spot for the 47th time…

Do you know how to tell if your dog is in pain? September is Animal Pain Awareness Month. Animals often express pain differently than people. Here are the most common signs of pain in dogs; decreased activity, decreased appetite, and/or overgroom or licking a particular area. If you have concerns about your dog please work closely with your veterinarian to assure the best care.
