The triplets 😍😍currently will have 2 unrelated pair's of Eclectus being hand raised will be looking for homes once fully weaned. Possibly have other unrelated pair's Eclectus depending on males or females this will be excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to establish quality breeding pairs .

Today we're celebrating Vetafarm's founder and director, Dr Tony Gestier!

Tony graduated from Sydney University in 1979 (BVSc. (Hons) MACVSc.) and formed a strong interest in avian and exotic animal medicine. Founding Vetafarm in 1990, Tony has been improving animal health ever since through nutrition, research & development and innovation!

Are pellets better for your bird?

When birds are fed a seed diet it is hard to ensure that they are receiving all the nutrients they require. Most seeds are deficient in essential amino acids which can lead to poor feathering, low vitality, and increased disease risk.

Vetafarm's pellets are extruded and formulated to provide a complete diet with balanced proteins, fats, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. Birds fed on pellets will have optimised feather development and immune function. Pellets should be fed as 80% of your bird's total diet - the rest made up of 15% fresh fruit and vegetables, and the remaining 5% treats.
