A big Barks and Rec welcome to terrific Toby! 💙🐾 This beautiful boy arrived full of excitement and ready to make the most of his day 💕 He settled into the group like a pro, and was very excited to meet all his new furry friends! Toby’s favourite things: the baby ball, treat toys, making new friends and soaking up as many cuddles as possible from our team! This morning he enjoyed a play with both Patterson and Milton, and after a little exploring outside and some extra cuddles, he took a well-deserved quiet moment to snuggle up on a bed with Maddi. 💤 But the fun wasn’t over yet! He was soon back up and ready for a play with Mabel, before a few rounds of chasey with Wally outside, then some kisses & cuddles with Sandy the greyhound on a bed 🥰 We’ve loved having Toby join the Barks & Rec crew today, and we can’t wait for more snuggles with this sweet little man! 🐶🎉

Today we welcomed our newest member to the Barks and Rec pack, Luigi the Golden Retriever X! 🐶✨This sweet boy was more than happy to hang out with our lower-energy crew, but that didn’t stop him from making some best pals along the way! 🥰 A special shoutout to Fergus and Turtle for becoming fast friends with our newest recruit! 🐾💛 Luigi had a blast playing games of fetch, tearing up some cardboard, and putting his nose to work with our treat toys, sniffing out all the tasty goodies he could find! Outside, he enjoyed blowing some little bubbles in the pool and having a good explore around the yard! After all that fun, Luigi was certainly ready for some downtime! He enjoyed a lovely cuddle with Kyra before settling in for a well-earned rest. 🥹💤 Well done on a great first day, Luigi, you’ve been a great addition to the crew! 🐾🌟

Everyone, meet the adorable Leo! 💕🐶 This little cutie arrived feeling a little shy, but it didn’t take long for him to find his paws and fit right in with our small but WILD crew!
Leo quickly found himself a play buddy for the day, the lovely Wally! 💙 These two were off to a great start! Leo was also very interested in our treat toys 🦴🤔, although he’s still figuring out how those tasty little puzzles work! 😂
But when it came to outdoor adventures, Leo was ALL IN! 🌿💨 He really came out of his shell, zooming around the yard and digging into in our sandpits with his new pals Nora, Theo and Pemberley! 🐕💨☀️
You might think that after all that excitement, Leo would be ready to curl up for a well-earned snooze when quiet time rolled around… 😴 Well, think again! 😂 This energetic little legend had MORE friends to make and found himself another buddy in the lovely Reggie! 💕🐾
We’re so happy to have you join the Barks and Rec pack, Leo! ❤️ We can’t wait to see what adventures you get up to next!

After hearing that Barks and Rec is *the* place for greyhounds, today we were joined by the gorgeous Cat! 😍 Currently living her best life in foster care, Cat’s paw-rent was keen for her to have some fun and socialise with some lovely doggo friends. After visiting for a tour and checking out how well we cater for our greyhound friends, Cat was keen as a bean! She arrived this morning full of confidence, happily trotting into the pen without a fuss, and quickly made herself right at home! We quickly discovered Cat’s love of treats, and before too long she was schmoozing up to us for plenty of pats too 🥰 She had a wonderful time exploring all the toys, collecting a bunch of them to take over to a bed for further investigation. Cat loved the other dogs and had no issue getting along with everyone in her group. She was especially fond of RoCo, becoming his enthusiastic sidekick as he chased his friends around outside and splashed about in the pool. 💕 Cat was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first visit. She’s officially clocked in, collected her treats and tested the pool... we reckon she’s got this daycare thing in the bag! ❤️💅

Stop everything, because Milo has arrived! 😍💕 This ridiculously cute little Pomeranian puppy joined us for his first daycare adventure and was ready to take on the world (or at least our pirate ship)! 🏴‍☠️ Curious, confident and full of puppy charm, Milo was straight into exploring and checking out his new surroundings. He waltzed straight into the pen, gave new friends Kenzo and Beth a big “hello” sniff, and watched a few games of fetch unfold. Milo was such a brave little man away from Mum today and didn’t show an inkling of nerves! He made sure to squeeze in plenty of cuddles with the team, follow his new friends around outside and suss out a rubber chicken toy. Basically, a very important morning of puppy business! Milo joined us for a half day, which turned out to be just the right amount of excitement for one tiny fluffball. By pick-up time, he was already starting to nod off after a big morning of being a very busy boy! 😂💛 We can’t wait to welcome Milo back for more puppy adventures, new friends and plenty of daycare fun (with a few more naps thrown in for good measure)!

Please give a warm welcome to Saoirse! 🐾💛 This sweet girl joined us for her daycare debut and spent the day getting to know her new surroundings at her own pace. 🥰 She loved soaking up cuddles with Shae, having a little explore and sussing out all the exciting play equipment! Outside, Saoirse was quite the little observer, checking out the sandpits, watching her new friends enjoy the pool (she wasn’t quite ready to take the plunge herself! 😂) and keeping an eye on the group as they lounged in the sunshine. ☀️ She also had a lovely little sniff around Luna the Cavoodle and some of the other dogs. When it was time for a rest, Saoirse was more than happy to curl up on Shae’s lap for some well-deserved cuddles. 💕We look forward to seeing this lovely lady grow in confidence and discover more of what daycare has to offer, one little adventure at a time! 🐶💛

A big Barks & Rec welcome to Ringo!☀️
Ringo arrived full of excitement and happiness, ready to jump straight into a fun filled day with his new friends! 🐶 He loved playing fetch, exploring all the toys, sniffing out tasty treats during treat hunts, and soaking up plenty of belly rubs and cuddles! Ringo’s highlight was definitely making a splash in the pool with fellow Golden retriever friend Maple, and playing chasey with Molly outside 🥰 Lots of exploring was had, playing in the sandpits and soaking up the beautiful sunshine☀️ Ringo was with us for a half day, yet he sure did jam pack in some fun. We’re so happy to have Ringo as part of the Barks & Rec family and can’t wait to see what other adventures are in store for him! 🌻

Welcome to the Barks & Rec fam, Baxter & Beau! Baxter the pug and Beau the cavoodle are a gorgeous duo who came to us today ready to have a fun morning! Beau needed a little more time to settle into the groove than Baxter did, but thankfully brothers always stick together and their bond seemed to give them both more confidence to explore! Beau loved a cuddle from our staff and also enjoyed a zoom outside, while Baxter relished sniffing in the sandpit and wandering outside to take in everything daycare has to offer. By the time their half day had come to an end, Baxter tried to sleep in reception 😂💤 We loved having you today boys - see you both for another day of fun again soon!

This little munchkin, Wicket the Cavoodle, joined us for her very first day of daycare today! 🥰 Wicket’s mum let us know that she can be a little nervous when she’s away from Mum, so we were extra proud of how brave she was, especially when she came straight in this morning like a little pro! 💛 While she was initially a little unsure of her new surroundings, Wicket was more than happy to get familiar with our staff and cozy up for plenty of cuddles. 🥰 Once she ventured outside, we loved seeing her start to realise what all the fuss was about! She took in all the sights, had a good explore and even enjoyed a little dig in the sandpit. 🏝️ With a little more time and a few more visits, we think this sweet girl will settle even further into daycare life and grow the confidence to make some new friends. Well done, Wicket! 🐾💛
