Happy Vet Nurse Day to our AMAZING nursies! 😍

Today we celebrate the girls who are always here going above and beyond for our patients, clients, and our whole team.

Thank you for your good humour, hard work, dedication and endless flexibility day to day- from cuddling and reassuring furry friends, to kiddie wrangling, foal wrestling and so so much more- you are all highly regarded by us all.

We appreciate you 🥰

💙Meet Shelby💙

Shelby presented to us very unwell - all the way from Karumba!🚗

After multiple tests and some treatment, we discovered she was positive for Ehlichia canis (AKA E.canis), a serious tick borne disease. 🦠

With how sick she was, Shelby was given a very guarded prognosis, and we knew she had a tough road ahead of her.🩺

But she was one determined girl! After lots of TLC from our vet nurses and treatment from Dr. Gracie, we are so happy to say that she has been sent home and is doing much better.🙌

Please take Shelby's story as an important reminder of just how dangerous ticks can be. Tick borne diseases can cause serious illness, and in some cases, can be life-threatening. Regular effective tick prevention is one of the best ways you can help portect your pets. With it kept constant, even when your pet seems perfectly healthy or you are not in a tick populated area, it may mean the difference between life and death.💔

We are so happy for Shelby and her amazing progress.

Another CVS Junior is almost here 🥰

With the fourth little Team Member due this month our afterhours services are being scaled back.

While we understand it can be scary and frustrating not having access to vet services 24/7 we greatly appreciate everyone's understanding and patience while we navigate this (fourth and final!) new baby chapter.

If no vet is available we will continue to do our best to give advice over the phone afterhours or have one of our amazing vet nurses come in case dependant.

From now until we close for Christmas if you are in need of emergency vet services and can't get through to us on the afterhours number within a reasonable timeframe please make arrangements to see your next closest vet.

Thanks to all of our valued clients for your continued support of our local family run business.
