Ballantyne Stud, Cleveland Bay & Australian Sporthorses Horse breeders , hack ring & show jumper enthusiast. The Ballantyne horses are a family affair, being home bred, handled & educated by us.

We have a small number of mares that we breed to outside stallions, as well as using frozen semen stored from our own stallion, Ballantyne Godsend, who is now gelded. We prefer Thoroughbred x Cleveland Bays which produces an attractive, better b***d Sporthorse suitable for all disciplines, however the occasional carefully selected dash of Arab or Warmblood is used. e Armagh Valley on the edge of Clare, SA. It consists of 45 acres of tree covered hills, a creek, huge dam and picturesque views over the vineyards. With plenty of room to move, the young stock grow fit & healthy in the undulating paddocks, which are regularly seeded to grasses. Stock sometimes available for sale.
