🐾 September is all about our Golden Oldies! 🐾

Just like us, our beloved pets can experience age-related changes and challenges as they grow older.

Throughout the month of September, we’re putting our Golden Oldies in the spotlight and celebrating the wonderful senior pets who have given us so much love, loyalty and companionship over the years. 🐶🐱

As pet parents, we all know the importance of supporting them and helping them stay happy, comfortable and healthy for as long as possible.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen an increase in stray and wandering pets coming into the clinic.

The good news? Many have been successfully reunited with their families thanks to a registered, up-to-date microchip.

With council registrations due by the end of August, now is the perfect time to check that your pet’s microchip details are registered and up to date with a microchip registry and Dogs and Cats Online (DACO) in SA.

Remember, it’s important to update your pets microchip details if you move house, change your phone number, or adopt/ rehome a pet.

A current microchip record can make all the difference in helping a lost pet find their way home.

Please note: Microchipping is mandatory in accordance with the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995.

Last week, Wicket went to his forever home! 🏡

Updates from his family tell us that he is settling in well and enjoying the company of his new dog siblings.

🐾 Meet Kylo and Rey 🐾

These two rescue kittens came into our care thanks to a kind member of the public. After spending some time growing big and strong, they're nearly ready to find their forever homes.

Before adoption, both kittens will be desexed, microchipped, and will have started their vaccination course.

If you're interested in welcoming Kylo or Rey into your family, keep an eye on the Paws Galore social pages for updates on when they'll be available for adoption.
