Going over all things ⬇️
- Benefits of using a slip lead over a harness for clearer direction and to eliminate poor body movement
- Building better communication
- learning how to time multiple elements (handling the leash, rewarding, pace, changing directions, halting and reading the dog)
- Engagement around competing motivators such as other people and dogs

Going over all the important foundational pieces of raising a puppy; such as exposure/socialisation, building a clear communication system and strong relationship, alongside knowing their needs and setting boundaries.

I’m looking forward to helping them on this new journey and watching this sweet lil guy grow into a well rounded dog 🥹

Welcome Rusty 🤎

Today we had our first meet and greet / assessment. This session is focused on getting to know the dog, their owners and discussing options.

This sweet girl will be joining our pack walks soon to help build neutrality amongst other dogs, learn appropriate social skills and to give her an outlet that will biologically fulfil her.
