It’s always hard to say goodbye to someone who has become such a special part of our Patterson River Vet Centre family.
After being part of our team, Dr Jo is heading off on a new adventure and has decided to take a break from clinical work and start a new chapter. While we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we’re so grateful for everything she has brought to our clinic.
From caring for our beautiful patients to supporting their families, Jo has always shown so much kindness, compassion and dedication. She has been a wonderful colleague and a truly valued part of our team.
Her presence around the clinic will certainly be missed by all of us and no doubt by many of our clients and their beloved pets too.
Thank you for everything, Jo. We’ve loved having you as part of our PRVC family and feel so lucky to have had you with us.
We wish you all the very best as you begin this next chapter. We hope it brings you plenty of happiness, exciting new adventures and some well deserved time to enjoy whatever comes next. ❤️

We’re always looking for little ways to make our beautiful patients feel safe, comfortable and cared for while they’re with us.

Our new hiding boxes in the cat ward give our feline friends a cosy little space to retreat to when they need some quiet time. 🐾💤

Because looking after our patients is about more than just their medical care it’s also about making them feel safe and loved.

Update! Molly has been found 🩷
🚨 LOST DOG – MOLLY 🚨

One of our lovely clients has lost their beautiful dog Molly today around Nepean Highway, Carrum.

Molly is a super friendly 3 year old Labradoodle

If you see Molly, please keep an eye out and let her owners know as soon as possible.

We’re looking into Bravecto Quantum as a possible new option for our clinic and would love to hear what our clients think before we decide.

Bravecto Quantum is a yearly, veterinary administered injectable treatment that provides protection against fleas and ticks for up to 12 months.

💬 Would a once a year treatment be something you’d be interested in for your dog?

Have you heard of Quantum before?
What are your thoughts about an annual injection rather than regular flea and tick treatments at home?

🚨🦜A little reminder for all pet owners 🦜🚨

With bird flu (H5N1) being detected in wild birds in Australia, we ask everyone to please take extra care around sick or dead birds.

• Keep pets away from sick or dead birds
• Keep cats indoors where possible
• Keep dogs on lead around beaches, wetlands and areas where birds gather

If you are bringing a bird into the clinic, please call us before entering. We will meet you outside to triage your bird before bringing them into the clinic.
