🚨Attention Residents of Morgantown- Skipworth St & Morgan Way 🚨
Sadly, we have reason to suspect there may be malicious poisoning of dogs in this area.
We have had THREE dogs, from THREE separate houses presenting with the same symptoms in the last 48 hours, consistent with organophosphate poisoning.
Samples have been taken to be sent for analysis and the cases have been reported to the Carnarvon Rangers, Carnarvon Police and DPIRD for investigation.
PLEASE be vigilant and seek vet attention immediately if you suspect your dog has been poisoned.
If safe to do so, it can help if you wash your dog in dishwashing liquid- the same that you wash your dishes in- as this can help prevent further absorption through the skin.
▪️Hypersalivation, drooling or foaming at the mouth
▪️Constricted pupils
▪️Muscle tremors, fasciculations or shaking
▪️Wobbly when walking
▪️Runny, yellow diarrhoea with mucous
▪️Hyperthermia (increased temperature)
