Our Horse Power Club Day session plan is sorted and we’ve got such a fun afternoon ahead — in-hand skills, games and finishing with a trail ride around the cross-country course.

A little bit of learning, a lot of fun, and plenty of time to enjoy our horses and each other.

Until our next Horse Power Club Day — a wonderful, inclusive and supportive program encouraging kids and adults to get out, have a go and try some new skills.
You can bring your own horse, or hire one of the wonderful steeds at Horse Power.
These days are made possible by the generous donation of time from our amazing volunteers and coaches, Jan and Hayley, and Ellen— who is also working towards her Horse Power coaching accreditation.

A huge thank you to Community Cinemas and Telethon 7 for the generous grant funding that helps make our HorsePower Capel programs possible.

This support allows us to invest in volunteer training, strengthen our Hippotherapy program, and build the skills and confidence of the wonderful people who give their time to support our riders and families.

Programs like this truly are a community effort. Grant funding helps us create safe, inclusive and meaningful opportunities for local children and families, while also supporting the volunteers who are such an important part of making it all happen.

We are incredibly grateful for the support — and excited to keep growing what we can offer our community.

Our team at HorsePower is proud to partner with Ellen at Every Stride Physiotherapy to offer this incredible hippotherapy program to children with disabilities in our community.

Hippotherapy uses the movement of the horse as part of physiotherapy to support strength, balance, postural control and movement — all within a relaxed, inclusive and play-based environment.

There is currently one spot available in the upcoming Spring term.

Thursdays at 4.45pm | Starting 17 September | 10 weeks | Ages 3–12

We say it a lot… but our program truly couldn’t run without our volunteers 💛

The people walking beside horses, chatting with riders, helping nervous kids feel safe, adjusting helmets, leading ponies in the rain, and just showing up week after week — you matter more than you probably realise.

So much of what makes this program special comes from the kindness, patience, and community our volunteers bring.

You’re not “just helping.”
You’re helping create confidence, connection, smiles, independence, and moments families remember for a long time.
