Vale Wyann Gooseberry ‘Cookie’

18/10/2006 - 2/10/2026

At just shy of 20 years old, Cookie grew his wings and passed peacefully surrounded by his humans.

Cookie was the OG Riverview Canungra Pony, the one who re - started it all.

Countless children were carried safely by him and he gave so many of them their first ride, first trots, first canters and first washing machines!

He was Mr Dependable. The noisiest in the paddock at feed time and the pony who coined the phrase ‘Toilet Break’.

He was my right hand man for 4 years - being graciously lent to me by Lauren and Izzy before going into semi - retirement with Jade and little Iylah.

I am beyond grateful to have worked with such an honest pony.

Now, the chestnut gang is back together.

Hercules, Ollie and now little Cookie, grazing to their hearts content in the paddock in the sky.

A belated Ekka results post!

We had the most wonderful week experiencing our first Royal Brisbane Show.

We made so many new friends, learnt so much and came away with a 2nd in Child’s Pony Hack and a 3rd in Ridden Arabian Derivative.

Trent was a superstar all week, unfazed by the atmosphere and giving Estelle many happy memories to cherish forever.

What a massive week and season leading up to this competition-
but so worth it!

Friends who ride together… stay together!

For tween and teen girls, their friendships are everything.

Luckily here at Riverview we have an awesome bunch of agistees who all ride together, socialise together and enjoy their horses as a group.

We are at the Ekka!

No lessons this week as we are spending the week competing at Ekka. Trent and Estelle have 5 classes this week. It’s her first time at a Royal Show and we are soaking it all in and learning so much.

Trent is on his best behaviour, super calm and focused which we are very happy about!

Stay tuned for results!

Happy Birthday to all our beautiful horses!

Give them an extra carrot today and an extra long groom!

They work so hard for us and if you think about it - even them letting us climb up on their backs and make them run around, jumping colourful obstacles is pretty amazing of them!

Thank you, ponies!

These girls…..

These crazy, energetic, fun, silly, supportive, brave, loud (Lilliana 😂) girls.

What a fun day making memories with your beautiful horses.
