Have you discovered our elusive Australian Giant Cuttlefish 🫧

This species can be over 1 meter long and weigh over 10kg 🤩

This secretive predator feasts upon fish and crustaceans and using special cells they can instantaneously change colour depending on mood and environment 🪸

You can discover this amazing animal in our Aquarium next to the seahorses 🌊

Happy International Primate Day 🐵

To our mischievous marmosets, terrific tamarins, larrikin lemurs, sensational squirrel monkeys, charismatic colobus and singing siamangs (alongside our other wonderful primates), we ❤️ you all!

Ask any Primate Zookeeper, working with these highly intelligent animals is one of the most rewarding experiences. It requires patience, trust and love of your animals and the absolute reward is the relationship built between keeper and their special friends 🐒

Keen to kick start spring with an outdoor adventure? ☀️

Kids Keeper For a Day is open to bookings this Saturday and Sunday, for children in Years 3-10. 🤗

Put yourself in a keeper’s boots and learn how keepers clean, feed, and care for our animals. 🐆

These three hour sessions allow children to experience life as a zoo keeper. They will be given the opportunity to participate in activities such as cleaning, feeding and making toys for our animals, as well as learning about local and international conservation issues. We aim to include different activities in each session to ensure that no two days at the zoo are exactly the same! You can come to one session or more! ⭐️

What a cracker of a day ☀️😉🐒

Despite being absolutely adorable, squirrel monkeys are one of the most intelligent primate species on earth and boast the largest brain-to-body mass ratio out of all primates 🤩

Our keepers keep it interesting for our cute quad with multiple enrichments throughout the day 🎁
