🚨 Important Information regarding our parking. 🚨

Please be aware that scaffolding around the business is currently impacting parking availability for the Dog Barber. This is continuing for the next couple of weeks, without a confirmed time for removal. Additionally, the entire side street off the Flemington Road entrance is due to be closed from Thursday 15 October.

We recommend allowing extra time before your appointment to find a park. There is additional street parking available in the surrounding area, but please check nearby streets for parking signs and restrictions. If you pop Knorr Street or Morris West Street into the GSP, there are often car spaces located here or alternatively you can park at Woolworths and walk a short distance.

We apologise for any inconvience and appreciate your patience while the works are underway. We look forward to seeing you and your furry friend soon!

WE’RE FINALISTS!

We’re incredibly excited to share that The Dog Barber has been named a finalist in the Pet Care category of the 2026 Local Business Awards – Canberra Region!

To everyone who took the time to vote for us, our wonderful clients, friends and family thank you. Truly. Every vote, kind word and bit of support has meant more than we can put into words.

To be recognised as a finalist in a category that means so much to us is an absolute honour. For us, grooming has always been about so much more than a fresh fluff-up. It’s about the health, comfort and wellbeing of the wonderful dogs who walk through our doors, and creating a calm, caring space where they can feel safe, happy and completely themselves.

To have our little salon recognised by the community we’re so lucky to be part of is incredibly special.

Thank you for backing us, believing in us and trusting us with your beloved fur family.

We’re so very grateful to be here and incredibly proud to be a 2026 Local Business Awards finalist.
