Thank you! I know Jess@the_mindful_canine posted earlier in the week but I just wanted to add my thanks. Being a sole trader can be isolating, Jess is one of my close support people, and I am incredibly grateful that so many people have supported her too. The support hasn't just been financial, I know many people have reached out to both of us asking how they can help or even just letting Jess know they are thinking of her.

The fundraiser continues and donations can be made here: https://www.gvrapp.au/s/campaign/help-support-a-local-r1u4wa

I'm hoping in the future we may be able to run a joint event but in the mean time, thank you.

As many Canberran's would have seen, this week, my good friend Jess at The Mindful Canine lost several of her sheep in a horrific act of animal abuse (more details in the comments). As a sole trader, this crime will directly affect her income not to mention the emotional toll it could take. I'm hoping that this fundraiser will assist in easing some of the immediate pressure Jess is under.

If you are able to, please donate and if you can't please consider sharing the link to the fundraising page:

My amazing Merlot working with the amazing

Yesterday Merlot and I participated in Simone Mueller's workshop hosted as part of the conference. I find predatory behaviours in dogs fascinating and could not miss the opportunity to learn from Simone Mueller. Merlot was an absolute star! We'd left home at 5:30am, her working spot wasn't until the end of the day so there was a lot of waiting around for her, as I got her out of the car she spotted a goanna about 2 meters away and yet she still walked into a room she'd never been in with 100 people, 3 other dogs and worked like a pro! Most importany she appeared relaxed and happy!
