Rusty came in last week for his desexing procedure, and this cuddly little guy was an absolute superstar! He was so brave throughout every step of the day. We just can't decide what his favourite part was all the cuddles from our nurses or the endless supply of delicious chicken! 😍🍗

Did you know that desexing eliminates the risk of testicular cancer and can help prevent certain prostate problems? It can also help reduce hormone-driven behaviours in some pets, such as roaming in search of a mate and urine marking.

Remeber: Desexing is an important part of your pets long-term health and wellbeing. 🩺🐾

Rusty is now home, resting up and soaking in all the extra TLC while he recovers. Get well soon, handsome boy! We loved having you visit us. 🐶💜

A very special day at The Campbell Vet. 💜🔔

Earlier this year, sweet Louis was diagnosed with lymphoma at just 3 years of age. Since May, he has been coming in almost every week for chemotherapy treatments, alongside regular blood tests and monitoring.

Last month, Louis reached an incredible milestone. On Wednesday the 23rd September, he received his final chemotherapy treatment. 🎉

Throughout his journey, Louis has shown remarkable resilience. He has been the most patient boy from having regular blood tests each time he came in and getting an IV catheter placed. He was always so brave and loved being rewarded with a good walk and sniff outside after. He has gained weight again, his happy personality has returned, and he is back to enjoying life with the people who love him most.

To mark the occasion, Louis became the very first patient to ring our chemotherapy bell. This bell was generously gifted to us in loving memory of a very special border collie, Merlot💜 Who will always hold a big place in our hearts. Being able to share this milestone with Louis and his family made the bell's first ring even more meaningful. 💜

Congratulations, Louis. We are so proud of you and honoured to have been part of your journey. 🐾

Eyes on the door, plotting her great escape back to Mum…

But hold on… did someone say CHICKEN?! 👀🍗

Escape plan cancelled. I think I’ll stay a little longer… you know, just in case there are more snacks involved. 🤭💜

Can you guess what mixed breed I am? 💜
