One thing I wish more owners knew is that you don’t need to wait until your dog looks really overgrown before booking a groom. 🤍
In fact, keeping on top of their coat usually makes the whole experience easier for everyone.
When the coat gets too long, knots can start forming underneath, especially around the ears, legs, chest and harness areas.
By the time you can clearly see the matting, it may already be uncomfortable for your pup.
Regular grooming helps keep the coat manageable, gives us more options with their haircut and can make the grooming experience calmer too.
If you’re not sure how often your dog should be coming in, ask me at their next appointment. Every coat is a little different, and I’m always happy to help you work out a routine that suits your pup. 🐶🐾
