A quick reminder not to give your dog table scraps or leftovers today. Maggie suffers chronic pancreatitis, this photo is from one of her hospitalisations in 2021. Any dog can become sick with acute pancreatitis from eating fatty food such as Christmas lunch.

It's Maggie's 4th birthday today! Maggie has had many ups and downs since being adopted in August 2019.

It's been an amazing journey watching her grow in confidence. Through positive exposure Maggie has learned that humans aren't that bad and most just want to pat her. She now wants to approach strangers herself and demands pats!

In her life so far Maggie's had 3 hospitalisations for health issues, competed in Canicross and a 12km trail race during Winter.

It has taken 2-3 years of regular training for Maggie to be more comfortable going out in public. She shows no signs of nervousness in most situations now.

Maggie's favourite things are mud, swimming, zoomies and cuddles.

We are still having technical difficulties this week. We have been on the phone to tech support for the past hour trying to sort out a login issue for our invoicing system. This will be sorted as soon as possible. Hang tight!

We are closed over Easter break coming up. 7th April until the 10th April. Reopening on the 11th April 2023. Don't forget to keep the chocolate and hot cross buns away from your dogs. Please contact your vet or the emergency vet by phone for immediate advice if they eat anything they shouldn't. Have a great break!
