I will create beautiful, natural-looking images of your pets which you will be able to display in timeless quality wall art. It is my goal with every session to create an enjoyable experience and to preserve the personality of your pet as well as capture the unique relationship between you and your pet. We will select a beautiful location within the ACT or the surrounding area to take portraits of your pets individually and then together. Throwback Thursday! 🐶✨

Throwing it right back today to my very first session at Fetherston Gardens in Weston Creek with this absolute sweet face, Milo the Cavoodle! Is there anything cuter than a curly-haired pup exploring secret garden paths? I think not! 😍

Fetherston Gardens has quickly become one of my absolute favourite spots for outdoor photo experience sessions. Here’s a couple of reasons why I love bringing dogs (and their humans!) here:

Hidden Secret Nooks: It feels like a series of mini secret gardens all rolled into one! From shaded woodland paths and quiet arbor walkways to lush hidden lawns, there are so many varied backdrops all within a short, easy wander.

Calm & Sniff-Friendly: Unlike some of Canberra’s busier lakefront spots, Fetherston offers a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment. That low-stress atmosphere lets dogs settle in naturally, follow their nose, and show off their true, relaxed personality in front of the lens.

✨ Golden Oldies Feature: The Unstoppable Chooky ✨

Some dogs take a little longer to find their way home, but when they do, the love is unconditional. Meet Chooky, a senior rescue Staffy who completely stole my heart during our recent Golden Oldies session up at Stromlo Observatory. 📸

Chooky’s early life wasn’t easy. She had a challenging start, spending time in and out of the local RSPCA before the universe finally led her to the humans she was always meant to find. Today, Chooky is living the absolute life she deserves—cherished, spoiled, and surrounded by a family that adores every single grey hair on her sweet muzzle.

And her golden years are anything but quiet! Alongside her loving humans, he’s got a little (well, big!) brother by her side to make sure every single day includes plenty of playtime, antics, and tail wags.

Standing against the sweeping views at Mount Stromlo, watching Chooky soak up the sunshine and affection, was a beautiful reminder of why senior rescues are so deeply special. They carry a bit of history, a lot of resilience, and an endless amount of heart.

Meet the gorgeous Matilda (or Tilley, as she’s lovingly known! 🐾❤️).

Tilley is an aging Aussie working dog bitzer with the heart of absolute gold. She’s not just the ultimate fluffy, moving cuddly cushion for her family—she’s also a hard-working medical service dog AND the very first pup for her little human sister. Talk about an absolute legend of a dog! 🥹✨

We recently spent a beautiful Spring afternoon exploring Fetherston Gardens in Weston Creek for her Golden Oldies session. Honestly, the flower displays were out of this world, but Tilley easily stole the show. There’s something so deeply special about capturing senior dogs in their golden years, and Tilley made every second pure magic. 🌸🌿

I truly have one of the best jobs in the world. 🐾❤️

Meet Finnick, the handsome lad who holds the title of being the very first Great Dane I ever had the pleasure of photographing! 📸❤️

To say he made an impression would be a massive understatement. Finnick was absolute pure magic—loaded with character, endless gusto, and enough goofy charm to light up the whole National Arboretum! 🌲💫 He didn't just walk into his session; he completely owned it and was officially the life of the party!

There is nothing quite like watching a giant breed bounce around with so much gentle joy. He certainly stole my heart (and definitely stole the spotlight)! 🐾😍

Meet Sandy, a remarkable 17-year-old Labrador and absolute royalty! 👑

Sandy is the definition of an extraordinary dog. For many years, she dedicated her life to helping others as a service dog. Now enjoying a well-earned retirement, life may have slowed down a bit, but her incredible determination and gentle spirit shine as bright as ever.

These days, her favorite moments are spent right by her fur-mum’s side, heading down to the horse stables, and chilling out with her best friend, Glitz. 🐕💛

We captured this beautiful grand old lady during her portrait session at the National Carillon, and she brought so much grace and sweetness to the afternoon.

🐾 Golden Oldies Feature: Meet Emma! 💛

Age is truly just a number, but at 11 years young, Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund Emma is pure perfection.

We recently spent a beautiful session together up at Dairy Farmer's Hill at the Arboretum, and Emma was absolute perfection. She was so calm and chilled out the entire time—just calmly gazing straight down the barrel of my lens! Whether it was a touch of senior deafness keeping her unbothered by the world or simply her wonderfully compliant nature, she made my job far too easy.

What makes Emma extra special is the incredible bond she shares with her little human sister. Being her first best friend, Emma holds a truly special place in her heart... even if her little sister mostly views her as a big, soft, moving teddy bear! 🧸✨

There is something so deeply moving about photographing our senior pets—capturing those gentle eyes, wisdom, and the unconditional love they bring to a family.
