I think we might have accidentally made everyone forget that we do hand stripping too… 😂
Probably because we hardly ever post about it!
But yes — LAZZZYPAWS is an all-breed grooming salon, and we actually have quite a few terrier kids who visit us regularly for hand stripping and rolling coat maintenance. 🤎
Here’s a little before & after of one of our lovely Parson Russell Terrier kids!
And of course, every dog gets their own little style. 🥰
We always chat with their family about what they love and what they’d like to keep. Maybe it’s that adorable fluffy tail, a slightly rounder and softer-looking face, or just a little extra scruff because… well, that’s their look! 😂
Our pet dogs aren’t heading into the show ring, so they don’t need to be groomed strictly to show standards.
We can respect the coat, use the right hand-stripping techniques, and still keep the little details that make each dog feel like themselves. 🤎
For this little one, regular rolling coat maintenance helps us remove the older, ready-to-go hairs while keeping the newer coat coming through — so there’s no need for a huge makeover every time.
Just a fresh little tidy-up… while keeping all the bits their family loves. 🐶✨
