Dee and Sophia were flying this afternoon! Jumps up to 80cm, what a proud moment. Watching the ups and downs of this partnership learn together over the last 18 months has been very cool. I said "ride her like you stole her Sophia" and she did, NO refusals and a few rounds just got better and better. Little tidy up on our landing but Sophia felt ever wrong canter lead and fixed them all up. She is a pocket rocket.

A great combination at work this arvo as we start our working equitation term. Last year at 11 this young lady barely trotted through our working equitation competition with so many nerves but today she shows me why she is quickly becoming a nice horse woman.

They don't get more skilled than this guy on a short run Garrocha line, 5mts apart the drums and bull ring is and he nailed this twice so its not a fluke its pure skill, I know many experienced riders competing working equitation who are not this good at such a short distance he really is impressive. Sandy knows her job so well and she shows such great life experience while taking riders through the line. So proud of you buddy.

Excited to have picked up Zeb today who has joined our team at McGahey Equestrian. I am.looking forward to him feeling at home and getting to know his new friends.

What a cute team at ba****ck and beauty this arvo, some first time trotting ba****ck and alot of pretty bows! Huge thank you to super mum Caroline for helping out and wow did our garrocha line get some action!

Trusting a young pony with your kid is hard, Micky has thrived on regular work here with us and safely took my 8 yr old daughter off lead around the loop, if you buy anything riding pony or welsh give them regular work and see the beautiful breed they are shine. This guy can get hot and silly if he is not ridden regularly but here with us thats not a problem. Super job Jasmine and Micky.

Excited to introduce 'Zeb' to McGahey Equestrian. Zeb has been beautifully started by an amazing woman who I have competed with for years and respect very much. He is a lovely quiet young Friesian Warmblood gelding. Zeb will be slowly taking steps to teach students and adults over the next few months. Major will eventually transition to being our spare horse and move into competition with me. Zeb will arrive next Wednesday.

Almost 2 years ago I brought this cutie and a journey of massive transformation happened. Like a brat who had forgotten society rules she embraced the McGahey bootcamp and came out a sergeant in charge of new recruits. She is my number 1 school horse, kind, soft, non aggressive to people or horses and she is the last one I get on to remind the rules too. Reminds me a cheeky gem is worth while giving a chance.
