Meet Billie🐾

This handsome little man recently visited us for his third puppy vaccination! Billie was such a brave boy for his visit and, with a face (and ears!) like that, he certainly won plenty of hearts while he was here. 💙

This gorgeous pup recently underwent stenotic nares surgery with our team. This procedure widens narrowed nostrils to help improve airflow and make breathing easier.

You can see the difference immediately after surgery! 🩺💙

Meet Dolce 🐾

Dolce decided her toy wasn’t just for playing with… and swallowed the squeaker! 🧸😳

Luckily, her mum caught her in the act and brought her straight in to see us. We were able to induce vomiting and retrieve the squeaker before it had the chance to cause any trouble.

A great reminder to keep an eye on damaged toys and remove any loose pieces before curious pets get the chance to swallow them.💙

Today we’re celebrating the incredible Veterinary Nurses who make up such an important part of the Macarthur Veterinary Group team.

From caring for hospital patients and monitoring anaesthetics to assisting with surgery, running pathology, taking radiographs, supporting our vets and providing plenty of cuddles along the way, our nurses play a huge role in the care of our patients every day. 🩺
