Frankie, Vet Recpetionist Cathy’s galah, has been on quite the journey. After weeks of dedicated vet visits, nursing care, and medication, he's finally on the mend and has just 2 weeks left in his "cone of shame" before he can enjoy life cone-free again! 🎉

Today we're celebrating the incredible team of Vet Nurses who keep our clinics running every single day.

From comforting nervous pets and supporting owners, to monitoring anaesthetics, assisting in surgery, running diagnostics, caring for hospital patients, cleaning kennels, answering phones, cuddling puppies, and everything in between there is no such thing as "just" a vet nurse.

Their days are busy, their roles are diverse, and their dedication to animal care never goes unnoticed.

To our amazing nursing team across Cairns Vet Clinic and Gordonvale Vet Surgery, thank you for your compassion, skill, patience, and the countless things you do behind the scenes to help pets live happier, healthier lives. 🐾✨

Long ears, short legs, droopy eyes and a personality bigger than both combined. 🐾💙

Bronco the Basset Hound puppy stopped by to see us recently, and Nurse Mikki was more than happy to soak up some puppy cuddles.

And if your pet needs us, we're open today for the King's Birthday public holiday from 8:30am - 1pm to help with all your veterinary needs.
