Our Adoption Fees are as follows and include desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months) as well as flea, tick and worm preventatives. Puppies (under 6 months) - $400
Dogs (6 months - 8 years) - $350
Senior Dogs (8 years +) - $200

Roxy was adopted from NQAR as a pup nearly 5 years ago. She is back with NQAR after her adoptive dad sadly passed away after a long illness. Roxy has had a tough time since her Dad died. She was badly attacked by another dog and has taken a couple months to heal. True to her spirit and personality, she has not shown any detrimental effects from her attack. In fact, her foster carer thinks that Roxy is THE most delightful, well grounded, polite dog that she has ever had the privilege to meet.

Kuro loves being close to his humans and spends his day following them around, waiting for pats and cuddles. He is currently living with a 3 yo little human and is quite gentle with her, not as mouthy as the average pup is at this age. Having said that he does have sharp puppy teeth and claws and when excited will jump up, so supervision around young children is required.

Kuro is sharing his foster home with two other dogs, one older and one younger, and is learning the pack rules. He tries to engage in play but also knows when to cool it. He has not been around cats but with his gentle nature he would likely be fine with them. He is quite chill for a puppy - although he certainly has a playful, cheeky side! He loves wrestling with his toys and having a good zoom around the yard.

Zuko is affectionate, devoted, and always ready for an adventure or a cuddle once the day winds down. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a wonderful companion for any family. Dottie is a bright, affectionate young pup with a beautiful mix of sweetness and personality. She is friendly with people and always happy to engage, especially when there’s cuddles, attention, or a bit of interaction involved.

She shares a love of water play and food (two guaranteed ways to win her over), and she enjoys the company of other dogs, engaging happily in social play. Dottie has a gentle, easy nature when interacting with others and takes joy in simply being part of the fun.

Meet Marley!

This young girl is surprisingly calm and easygoing for a puppy. While she loves a walk, a beach run, or a play session with her dog friends, she's equally happy spending the day curled up beside her humans, soaking up all the love and attention.
She's the kind of dog who's simply happy to be here!

Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for fun, she absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. She'd also do wonderfully with a family and kids, or as a solo dog with humans willing to spoil her with pats and cuddles.

She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, (particularly men,) but a few treats and a little patience quickly win her over. Once she trusts you, she's incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with her people.

Give her 48 hours, and you'll see exactly why everyone falls in love with her. In return, you'll gain a devoted best friend, a loyal companion, and a four-legged shadow who will love you for life.

True to her spirit and personality, she has not shown any detrimental effects from her attack. In fact, her foster carer thinks that Roxy is THE most delightful, well grounded, polite dog that she has ever had the privilege to meet.

Roxy's foster carer has a house rule that dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. She was worried about this when Roxy came into my care because she knew that Roxy and her Dad “camped out” together on his bed during the latter stages of his illness. She was going to make an exception to her rule, but didn’t need to! Roxy just slotted into her foster family's hearts and life and adores her new foster sister and "ankle biter” foster brother. Initially she sneaked onto her carer's bed and furniture when she wasn’t looking, but she now prefers one of the dog beds next to her carer's dogs.

From the moment Roxy came into care, she accepted that she was the bottom of her foster carer's 3 dog pack. But that disappears the moment that her carer has to medicate her new brother and sister, or give her new brother a haircut. She is suddenly the self-appointed saviour to them both!

Roxy’s table manners are exemplary. She immediately sits by her bowl quietly when it is her turn, and will lock with your eyes until she is released. She has now decided that she likes both of her “toothbrushes” – either a raw apple or a frozen raw carrot. Roxy is a dream to take for a walk. She happily wears a halti, walks perfectly “to heel” and will sit at street corners.

If you are looking for a well-behaved, calm and loving gal, give Roxy the second chance she so deserves.

Miss Tallulah, is a gentle, shy, but happy little dog. She is gradually working her way towards trusting that pats and human cuddles are a good thing and being naturally inquisitive is helping this process. She is an explorer and loves to self-entertain with garden play with natural toys like sticks and leaves whilst slowly recognising that dog toys can be fun too.

Tallulah needs encouragement in her training and is a work in progress with both crate and toilet training. Walking on the lead is a whole new experience that she seems to enjoy. She is a quiet girl, but will bark at new people who come to the door. She has been good with other dogs and older children but no exposure yet to cats, little children or other animals.

Tallulah needs an owner who is willing to dedicate time and love to this gorgeous girl's world to let her know, humans are safe. As she has recently been separated from her bonded brother, a second dog who is familiar with its house rules and training would be a benefit to Tallulah's learning. She has sweetness on her side so when you meet her, you will be guaranteed to fall in love.
