Some predictions for TC Maila have improved for our ride. Fingers crossed.
For those Tablelands motorcyclists joining the ride at Mareeba, you need to join us at Rotary Park before 10:00am. Rotary spark is situated at the northern end of Mareeba on the left hand side of the Byrnes St/Mulligan Highway.
Also are any of you who are riding with us on Sunday, able to film parts of the ride? These will be used by Channel 7 for a news item after the ride. Please contact me if you are able to fulfill this task.

I might add that TCs are notoriously unpredictable. TC Yasi was barreling towards Cairns the night before it made landfall around Tully/ Mission Beach.

Ahmmm, someone contacted me, stating that they couldn’t register as they couldn’t scan the QR code on their mobile. Your alternative is to google 123Tix and find the BDR One Dayer registration there and then follow the prompts to register. Also can you get one of your friends to use their mobile to get the WR code up and then scan it off their phone. I hope this helps.

I hope everyone is enjoying the Easter break but it’s timely that we continue to prepare for our One Dayer next Sunday..
Yes it’s only 6 days before we muster for the ride.
First let’s all prepare by checking our bikes. Fortunately our SES volunteers will be able to back us up for any recoveries needed but no one wants to miss out on some of the ride because of a breakdown.
Have those of you who want a lunch at Ravenshoe, contacted Sam at the Popular Cafe and ordered and paid for your meals? For the menu and payment process scroll back to my previous post.
Lions will be offering $5 Bacon and Egg buns at the morning muster. Coffee will be available there as well.
BDR merchandise will also be available at morning muster.
We have a raffle to run and you will be able to get tickets there as well. The prize draw will be made at our destination, the Ravenshoe Railway.
The Silent Auction is still running with the present bid standing at $240.00.
So I hope you’re as excited as I am.

Following my previous post, for those wanting lunch in Ravenshoe on Sunday the 12th of April, you only need to look at my post from last Saturday and you will find the menue and contact details of the Popular Cafe.
We also still have our Silent Auction running for our BDR One Dayer Sprocket. The present highest bid is $240.00. To bid , just message your name and bid to myself. I will acknowledge the bid by return message.

It has come to my attention that there are some motorcyclists who think that the Cairns One Dayer was cancelled. Is is incorrect. The ride was postponed and will be held on Sunday the 12th of April. Bookings have climbed to 60 participants, make sure you book soon. I have attached the Original flyer as it is correct apart from the date. Once again, that date is Sunday the 12th of April. You must book on line and to make that easier, you only have to scan the QR code on the flyer and then follow the prompt to register.
Also I high recommend that those wanting lunch in Ravenshoe, should contact Sam at the Popular Cafe to book and pay for your lunch. Those that don’t may find the will have to wait for food and may not have as wide a choice as those of us who have already chosen ad paid for our meals.
