Last night, Remember Me Pet Cremations attended the 2026 Moreton Bay Local Business Awards as finalists in not one, but two categories: Pet Care and Business Person of the Year.

We didn’t come home with the win, but being recognised alongside so many wonderful local businesses in our first year of operation is something we are genuinely proud of.

For us, these awards have never just been about a trophy. They represent the trust families place in us every day to care for someone they love during one of the hardest moments they will face.

Remember Me began with a simple belief: every goodbye matters, and every pet deserves to be treated with love, dignity and respect. That remains at the heart of everything we do.

To every family who voted for us, recommended us, shared our name, supported our little family-run business or trusted us with their beloved pet, thank you. Your support is the reason we were standing there as finalists in the first place.

Losing a pet for the first time can feel overwhelming. In those moments, knowing what to do next isn't always easy.

We were honoured to help this family say goodbye to their beautiful boy, Archie, and to give them the time and space they needed to farewell him with love.

Thank you for trusting Gary to care for Archie as if he were his own. Knowing we've been able to make such a difficult time just a little gentler means everything to us.

Some moments stay with you forever, and this was one of them.

We had the privilege of caring for Snowy and supporting his family through one of the hardest days they’ve ever faced. From the moment Gary arrived, every part of Snowy’s farewell was handled with the same kindness, dignity and respect we would want for our own pets.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for trusting us with your beautiful boy. Knowing we could bring even a small amount of comfort during such a heartbreaking time means more than words can express.

Snowy will always be remembered. 💙

We’re still recovering from the excitement of this week, but it looks like awards season is not over just yet!
