Marlee Country Kennels are a fully licensed facility situated on Jalbarragup Road, Kalgup, just over 9km (6minutes) from the Bunnings roundabout on the Busselton Bypass. We are signposted at the roundabout and Jalbarragup is a continuation o
f the first part of Chapman Hill Road. ACCOMODATION:
The modern kennels are purpose built, each with individual runs and are cool in Summer and warm in Winter. Designed for a healthy environment, no dog can make contact with another unless of course you have more than one dog, then they can share. The whole kennel blocks are scrubbed out and disinfected daily. We supply comfortable trampoline style beds and clean warm bedding. You are of course most welcome to bring your own if you wish. The same applies to coats and toys, we suggest you write your dogs name on the items. EXERCISE:
Your dog will have daily individual exercise around our lovely 11 acre property including free running with other similar size, friendly dogs in our large, grassed free run area. VACCINATIONS:
All dogs must be fully vaccinated and this must include a C5 or equivalent for Canine Cough, this must be renewed every 12months and owners must produce an up to date certificate at the time of booking. FEEDING/MEDICATION:
Our dogs are fed a healthy, balanced diet of Eukanuba Premium Sport kibble with freshly cooked chicken mince and rice. If your dog is on medication this will be administered as per your instructions. We monitor all dogs constantly and are in touch with all the local vets if the need arises. BATHING FACILITIES:
We have a hydro bath on the premises and are more than happy to give your dog a bath before they come home. We charge just $30 for this service. We use high quality dog shampoo and conditioner. VISITORS:
You are more than welcome to inspect our facilities and to meet our friendly staff who will be looking after your precious pet. Unfortunately, due to licensing regulations and industry standards, visitors are not allowed inside the kennel area to reduce disturbance of the animals and for OH&S reasons. COSTS:
Our rates are $34 a day for one dog or $49 a day for two dogs sharing a kennel. There is a $10 surcharge per kennel for any day that is a public holiday. We also provide Doggy Day care, Long term stays and FIFO workers. We are usually able to offer a discount for long stays, we can discuss at the time of booking. There are no hidden costs at all, our rates include GST and we do not charge for giving your dog your own food or administering medication. We do have Eftpos facilities. The day of admission is charged for irrespective of the time of admission, each full day is charged for and the day of departure is charged for also.
