DOUGLAS GOT JUSTICE TODAY 🐾🕯️

After 2 long years, today at Bunbury Courthouse, justice was done for little Douglas.

They both went to jail tonight — he for 11 months, she for 8 months.

I am happy with this outcome. For a 12-week-old puppy who only knew love, today the court said you mattered. Thank you to everyone who came, who shared, who held Douglas in your thoughts.

I believe today is a beginning — that animals now have a louder voice because of Douglas.

I want to ask one more kind thing.

Please, let it end here. Please don’t bring their young children and family into the public eye. Don’t seek revenge or post bitter threats. The children did not do this. The court has done its job.

Today we got justice, not vengeance. Let’s leave it with the court, and let’s remember Douglas with love, not hate.

Justice for Douglas. He will never be forgotten. 🤍🐶

JUSTICE FOR DOUGLAS 🐾💔

BUNBURY COURTHOUSE

This Friday, the case for little Douglas will be heard.

Douglas was just 12 weeks old — a tiny puppy who only knew how to love — when his life was taken by his owners.

He had no voice. So we need to be his voice.

I’m asking anyone who believes that animals deserve protection and justice to please come along. You don’t need to say anything. Just being there, peacefully and respectfully in the public gallery, shows the court that our community cares and that Douglas mattered.

Please come if you can. Share this if you can’t.

No abuse. No threats. Just presence for a puppy who deserved so much better.
