Please note that bookings are limited as I will be closed for a short break during May. I will be closed from the 4th to 20th.

In addition, I have now added the new Intermediate Class for May! This class is a mini basics of herding workshop to streamline the transition from Beginner sheep herding class to Novice classes. You will only be required to attend this class once before Novice class but you can attend it again if you feel you need the refresher. For clients currently doing Novice class, you can attend this class as a one off refresher before returning to Novice class if you feel you need to brush up on the basics.

Intermediate Class bridges the gap between Beginner Classes (initial instinct testing) and Novice classes (building more advanced skills) where you will learn the basics of sheep herding and begin handling your dog. This class is suitable for dogs and handlers that have completed Beginner Herding Class, private herding lessons or have completed instinct testing at another facility and want to build your skills before attending Novice Class. This class allows you to have the framework to then advance you and your dog’s skills further in Novice class more easily. This class is suitable for dogs of any age including pups of any age that have had at least two vaccinations.

➡️Introduction to basic dog and handler skills for sheep herding
➡️Transition from trainer handling the dog for instinct testing to you handling your dog
➡️Learn what the goal is when working our dogs on stock and how to read the stock and dog
➡️Introduction to balancing, stops and recalls
