My spare time, is used to study online a Certificate III in Animal Care Services. And I love it. I love completing tertiary courses . We are never too old to learn.

Even as a business owner of 12 years and a cattery owner for over 3 years, there are pockets of info to still learn. 💙😸

Cattery owners have to follow animal welfare guidelines, WHS compliance etc, but there is no actual course that is required to own a cattery, as it is an unregulated industry sector , which does concern me as there are no minimum qualifications or benchmarks to follow. And our GC council does not assess or give out accreditation/permits for pet sitters or cattery owners and there are no audits. I personally call this a high risk industry sector.

Just their own sofa, favourite window stake out position and meals served exactly where they want them.

I pop in while you’re away, and your cat carries on ruling the house as normal. Bit keeping you up to date w daily photos.

- Feeding (food + water replenished)
- Litter box clean or change
- Playtime or cuddles

Overnight stays can be booked. limited.

* Travel fuel fee outside 7km of Varsity Lakes

Tasks - watering plants + collecting mail.
