A very big congratulations to Bunyip Pony club member Eden Cunningham on her amazing result at this years Inter-school Nationals in the show horse division. Eden was piloting her lovely pony Oliver AKA Calvin Park Bolero. Eden has owed Ollie for 2 years and in this time they have had amazing success in the show ring! Eden trains with Oliver most nights and her dedication this year payed off placing 3rd nationally. An amazing achievement, being the highest place Victorian rider in this section.
Eden looked amazing out there and so did Ollie, Ollie is a typical pony he likes to eat everything, and treats are his nemesis. However, being a riding pony Eden is careful to keep him on a low sugar diet to make sure he stays in optimum health in body and mind.
Ollie can be quite quirky and high energy at times and so does require a bit of a work down. Eden loves the different personalities of her horses and Ollie has plenty of personality to go around.
Eden and Ollie enjoy some cross training through the year with Ollie showing that he can jump the coloured sticks and fixed cross county fences and a low key trail rides, every now and then he even shows he can be a fitness fanatic and hit the treadmill.
Next year Eden hopes to continue this cross training with Ollie and really build his confidence learning to fly (show jump that is) Eden is also looking forward to getting out and about on her Off The Track "The Good Fight" we look forward to seeing Eden and all her horses out there. Congratulations Eden amazing job!!!
