Giant baby Bruce the Great Dane came in for his bath and left looking fresh and very pleased with himself 🐾

While blow-drying this gorgeous pup, I discovered a hot spot that the owner wasn't aware of. Hot spots are inflamed, irritated areas of skin that can develop quickly from moisture, allergies, licking, scratching, or trapped bacteria. They can be quite uncomfortable and often hide beneath a thick coat.

I carefully clipped the area short to allow better airflow and help the skin dry out, making it easier to keep clean and monitor while it heals. If you notice your dog excessively licking, scratching, or developing a sudden sore spot, it's always worth having it checked by your vet.

A groom is about more than looking cute – it's also a great opportunity to spot potential skin concerns early. ❤️🐶✂️

What a weekend! 🐾✂️

We were absolutely flat out grooming so many beautiful fluffs, and looking back at these photos makes my heart so full. Every dog that comes through our doors is treated like family.

One of my favourite parts is seeing how much my kids adore the dogs too. They love meeting all the different personalities, handing out pats, cuddles & treats and sharing the same love of animals that I do ❤️

A huge thank you to all our wonderful clients for trusting us with your precious pups. We love spending time with every one of them and can't wait to see them again for their next pamper session!🐶💕

One of the bonus benefits of regular grooming isn’t just keeping your dog looking cute — it’s catching things early 🐶✨

As a groomer (and vet nurse), I get to see areas most owners don’t, and while blow-drying I’m able to get a really good look at the skin and coat underneath all that fluff.

Recently I discovered a polyp in an area that easily could have gone unnoticed at home. It’s now been removed and sent away for testing 🤞

Beautiful Cooper came in for a much-needed deshed this week 🐶✨

This time of year is perfect for helping remove all that loose undercoat before it ends up all through the house (and your car… and your clothes 😂).

For double-coated breeds, now and again around November is ideal to help keep shedding under control and the coat healthy and comfortable year-round.

Cooper left feeling lighter, fluffier, and very handsome 💛
