🐔 Our chooks have a pretty bloody rough life…

Roaming an old dairy farm at Gundowring Grown, eating bugs, scratching around and drinking from their very own natural spring. Tough gig. 😂

Truths out now, we have been delivering eggs to our mum friends and the wider community who know what’s good for them all year. Nutrition-wise, crunchy-wise and value-wise (FREE delivery, people!).

Now we have started selling at the Albury-Wodonga markets and people are asking, “Are these Erin’s Eggs?”

Well… yeah, kinda! 😂

If you are a RAD growers fan (I mean who isn’t) You might recognise the chicken caravan. Seems our chooks have been sending messages with the crows and telling Erin’s chooks how RAD life is here at Gundowring Grown.

So, I guess they’re kinda Erin’s eggs… just with a little extra flavour from our bugs. 🐛🥚🤣

how good are these days!

& although they are oh so full - the race is on to get late winter and early spring crops in the ground. there’s still plenty to do, but these balmy days are such a treat!

DAHLIAS ARE TOTES WORTH CELEBRATING

& after the summer that was & before the cold sets in, right now they’re having their moment to shine, so we’re celebrating w mkt b*hs & bloom buckets!

this sat we’ll have mkt b*hs for $30 or
30 of our freshest stems for $65 + optional foliage bucket $20

we’ll only have five bloom buckets this sat, so send me a msg if you want to lock.them.in

GOOOOOD FRIDAY!

so much good stuff on the pick, b*h & pack today to cover your easter feaster!

are slinging some of our b*hs of sunnies in their bakery this morn - they’re open from 8, so if you have a craving for something delicious, pop by & say hi.

they’re also slinging more of our sunnies, dahlias, snapdragons & posies @ the beechworth farmers mkt tomoz - if you miss out on their hotties today, you’ll get another chance tomoz 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

+ we’re on the pick & pack, like mad rabbits for tomorrow’s albury wodonga farmers market. looots of sweet roots, luscious greens, sweet melons, a few toms for the early birds + all our seedlings & flowers to boot.

it’s autumn. it’s abundant & easters always awesome, so pop by, say hi & make sure you stock up on some carrots for the easter bunnies!!!!

TALK ABOUT WHIPLASH

but there’s no complaining here about this mornings low temps. & as we nursed our first cool season crops through last weeks heat, it’s a nice reminder that summer doesn’t last forever. time to bed prep & plant these babies before the next burst of heat 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏿

ITS HOT OUT RIGHT?

that’s why we’re making the call to sling our produce early tomoz , & get back to the farm & the bungo babes before another scorcher.

our produce is looking ace, perhaps this grower not so much, so pop by early & stock up on all things leafy greens, salad deliciousness and beautiful blooms before returing to hybernation.
