‘Purchased late 2025 as a Novice mare through Sally at Performance Horse Sales, Elle has been everything I could have hoped for and more. ❤️
In 28 years of riding and many horses along the way, this mare has topped them all.
Finding the right horse starts with honesty. Being completely upfront with Sally about my ability, where I was as a rider and what I genuinely needed helped her find the right match. When the match is right, progression can happen so much faster.
I’m also incredibly grateful for the brilliant basics and miles already put into Elle. Those foundations have allowed us to progress with enjoyment rather than argument.
Then comes consistency, good coaching and giving the partnership time. Elle and I are still new to each other, and I’m respectful of the fact that a true partnership takes years to build.
As the pieces have come together, we’ve stepped up to Advanced, won the Fraser Coast Medium Championship and have now been accepted to compete at Brisbane CDI. 🥹❤️
My goal is PSG next year.
Elle’s goals are probably a good paddock neighbour, clean water and fresh hay. 😂🐴❤️ And perhaps that’s another important reminder — they’re my goals, not hers.
