πππ At K9 Connections, we believe that no one should have to choose between their safety and their beloved pet.
Domestic violence situations often leave people facing impossible decisions, with many victims delaying or avoiding leaving because they have nowhere safe for their dogs to go. We understand that pets are family, and for many people, they are a vital source of comfort, support, and unconditional love during difficult times.
That's why we are proud to offer free & confidential emergency boarding assistance for domestic violence victims when we are able. Our goal is simple: to provide a safe, caring environment for their dogs while their owners focus on securing safety, accommodation, and support.
By removing the worry of what will happen to their dog, we hope to make it just a little easier for someone to take that brave first step towards a safer future.
We are incredibly grateful to our supporters and community who help make initiatives like this possible. Together, we can help keep both people and their pets safe when they need it most. πΎπ
If you or someone you know requires assistance, please reach out confidentially and we will do our best to help. This version keeps the focus on the service, the importance of pets in DV situations, and the community support behind the initiative.
