Having no tail can cause complications with dermatitis in the skin folds it causes. This tail fold dermatitis is very irritating and hard to cure. We often have to institute a management plan to control the problem.

Dr Lauren’s delightful dog Marlo was very sick last week. He suddenly had a 42 degree fever and massive liver enzyme rise and a giant p***y wound.
He was admitted to hospital and given medication to reduce his fever and control his infection. Then he had a sudden allergic reaction while in hospital which was treated with medication.

He didn’t improve an stayed very flat, so Dr Lauren was very concerned so she gave him a CT scan which showed no cancer but a very inflamed liver.

1 week later we still don’t know exactly what happened. A poisonous insect bite? Toxin ingestion? But he is on the mend now!
