Feline parvovirus (panleukopenia) Alert

We are currently seeing an increase in cases of feline parvovirus in the Broadmeadows and surrounding north west suburbs. This is a highly contagious and potentially fatal virus especially in kittens and unvaccinated cats.

Signs
Lethargy/weakness
Loss of appetite
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Fever or low body temperature

If your cat is showing any of these signs get veterinary care immediately

It can be prevented by ensuring vaccinations are up to date.
