It deeply saddens me to say that our beautiful girl Simba has passed...we’re still not sure what was wrong with her, she didn’t end up having pyometra and her heart and kidneys were ok, bloods normal, so they put it down to a UTI...we were meant to be picking her up at 4pm, she was coming home with some antibiotics...but then we got a phone call to say she had stopped breathing and they were doing CPR...they worked on her for 20 minutes while we drove desperately to be with her but it was too late...
I’m sure she waited for us to leave before she took her last breath, she didn’t let anyone know how sick she really was, she was the sweetest, most loyal, beautiful girl...for a chow chow her soft nature and temperament was very rare and uncommon...
As big as she was (36kg) you wouldn’t even know she was there half the time, unless you tripped over her cause she laid in the most awkward places ie middle of the kitchen/hallway/right outside my bedroom door
I’ll miss her crying at the front door when I return home from work, I’ll miss hearing her snoring like a jet plane...I’ll miss her sneaking around the corner when she hears a slice of cheese being opened...I’ll miss letting her in the shed so she can go see her Daddy in the mornings...
My beautiful girl, you were a joy and loved by so many, you loved your whole family unconditionally, you will be missed more than you’ll ever know...we let you go with love my darling, until we meet again my sweet girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️
