Some dogs chew their toys. Others chew absolutely EVERYTHING.

Lorraine's Staffy mix was the second kind.

With a 2-year-old Bull Arab and a 1-year-old Staffy mix, Lorraine needed an outdoor bed that was comfortable for one dog and tough enough to survive the other.

So she gave ChewProof a go.

And her little destroyer certainly put it to the test!

As Lorraine put it:

“Our dog has given it his best shot but the ChewProof bed is the clear winner.”

But there's another part of Lorraine's story we love.

She accidentally ordered the wrong mat. When she contacted us, Kevin happened to be passing her suburb on the way home, so he dropped by and swapped it over.

Because a good bed matters. But looking after the people who buy them matters just as much.

Four years on, this is still one of our favourite reviews.

How many dog beds does it take before you finally find one that lasts?

For some dog owners, the answer is far too many.

You buy a bed. Your dog destroys it. You clean up the mess, throw what's left in the bin, and start looking for another one.

Sound familiar?

Bette McGill knows what it's like to go through dog beds. But it sounds like those days are finally behind her.

"It's the only dog bed I have now. All the rest have 'gone'!"

And that's exactly what we love hearing.

Meet Jasper. The Beagle who started it all.

Before ChewProof became what it is today, there was Jasper. And a problem that needed solving.

We wanted a dog bed that could stand up to the punishment dogs like Jasper could dish out. So we built one.

And here he is, looking pretty pleased with himself on one of our earliest ChewProof beds.

It's a bit of a throwback, but a good reminder of why we started.

One Beagle. One big problem. And an idea that became ChewProof.
