Update - MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN FOUND!

Apparently, it was my idea to hit the streets. My bad!!

Hi! My microchip tells me that my name is Tommy but I'm not sure it is or not because the vet can't reach the people that are registered on it 😢

Anywho, I've been on my own in the wide world for a little while and a nice lady took me to Toowong Family Vet for safety and to find my family.

I'm a young fella and I'm not really sure how I came to be unhoused but it to be so much better if I was with my family and the warmth and love of my own home.

💜🐕 UPDATE: The situation has been resolved between relevant parties with the breeder taking back and rehoming this little guy. Thank you all, for your help and attention, we are grateful for it all 🐕💜

This handsome man was dropped into the clinic today after being found wondering the streets of Toowong.

The lovely couple that found him kept him safe over the weekend and posted him on their social media in hopes of finding his family, with no luck.

He is microchipped but the details are still registered to the breeder.

The little guy is only 4 months old, surely someone is missing him.

PLEASE NOTE - 8:30pm, 24/12/2025

Can we please refrain from throwing accusations around about the owner and breeder. We don’t know the whole situation - and if life has taught us anything, unfortunate situations happen all the time, and need time to be investigated/understood.

The breeders have a name for the ‘Owner’ and have tried reaching out but have had no response.

He’s currently in the care of the lovely couple that found him until we can work out a solution.

There are certain routes and protocols that need to be followed on regards to any sort of rehoming or foster situation, so please, we won't be able to respond to every comment requesting to foster or adopt, but can refer to this post should this be an avenue we are able to take.

We will continue to approach this with kindness and understanding, and ask that everyone please do the same. Thank you for your care and concern - and your help with getting some answers for this lovely little man.

Most likely due to the storms and rain over the weekend, the clinic is finding itself without internet and thus - the inability to answer any phone calls. Our access to the booking system is also somewhat limited, but we are finding ways around it.

As we are able to check emails, for the time being, we ask that our lovely clients please email through any requests or question you may have regarding your pets and their needs.

We're in talks to get this sorted as soon as possible, but know we're working super hard to get things back to normal Monday operation for us all.

We apologise for this inconvenience as we know you rely on us to help care for your pets. We are on it, and optimistic that this problem will soon be resolved.

***REUNITED WITH FAMILY ***🥰🥰

Please help us find this beautiful old lady's owners!

Found along Metroad near Birdwood Tce And Rainworth Rd. She is scared and was trying to cross from one side to the other.

This elderley gal has no microchip or collar and appears to be blind or has severe cataracts. Looks to be a Blue Heeler X.

She is frightened but tucked up safely with us.

The clinic closes at 4pm. We will keep her here overnight, if needed.

🐶 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🐶

This little lady was dropped into the clinic today after being found in Toowong.

She’s not microchipped and looks like she may have been lost for a while (fleas, underweight).

We’ve had to take her to RSPCA at Wacol as we don’t have staff in the clinic again until Monday.

❤️ REUNITED ❤️

This little cutie was brought into us after being found near The Johnson Hotel in Spring Hill.

He is NOT microchipped, wasn't wearing a collar and has not been desexed. He's approximately 12 to 18 months old and is in excellent condition. So, he is someone's beloved little mate!

The gentleman that found him has taken him home for the weekend, however, we have their contact details should we find his owner.
