Meet Storm, the sweetest, craziest Labrador pup around ⛈️

Storm came in to have some of his deciduous (baby) teeth removed. Sometimes these stubborn little teeth don't fall out on their own and start pushing into the hard palate, which can cause real discomfort and dental problems down the track. Storm was the bravest boy through the whole thing, and he's already back to full-speed chaos 💚

🚨 WARNING - CUTENESS OVERLOAD 🚨

We recently visited these seven gorgeous Cocker Spaniel pups for their first vaccinations and microchips, and safe to say they stole every last one of our hearts 🤎

Nixon the Labradoodle has one small problem: he'll eat just about anything 🙃

This silly boy decided some of his toys looked like a snack. When bits of toy get stuck, they can cause a serious blockage, so we performed an exploratory laparotomy, found the culprits, and removed them safely.

We're happy to report he's back to his usual bouncy, cheeky self. Cutest patient 💚

Say hello to Dr Jasmine Yuen 👋

Jasmine's a University of Queensland graduate who commenced her veterinary career in small animal, where the fast pace and complex cases clearly agreed with her 🐀

She went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, and since joining The House Call Vet she's developed a real passion for internal medicine, recently earning her Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Small Animal Medicine. No small feat.

Her clinical interests run deep: internal medicine (endocrinology, cardiology and emergency medicine especially), plus diagnostic imaging like ultrasonography and echocardiography. If a case is complicated, Jasmine's the one who loves rolling up her sleeves and getting to the bottom of it, always with thorough, evidence-based care 🧐

When she's not investigating a medical mystery, she's at home with her three cats, all adopted from the RSPCA. She's also fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, so she can reassure a good many more of our Brisbane families in the language they're most comfortable with.

We're very lucky to have her 💚

Meet Summer, a Cavoodle pup with the puppy eyes to end all puppy eyes 🥺

She popped in for her post-spey recheck and we're thrilled to say she's healed beautifully and absolutely thriving. Desexing recovery is usually quick and fuss-free, and a recheck lets us make sure everything's healing as it should before your pup's back to full zoomies.

Meet Carbon, one of our favourite pugs 🖤
