🍄🌈 CASPIAN’S MARIO & LUIGI TRANSFORMATION — PART 1 OF 2! 🌈🍄

Yes… that’s a dog, and no, he’s not wearing an outfit! 😂🐩🎨

Meet Caspian and one of my favourite creative grooms to date — a Mario & Luigi design inspired by childhood nostalgia, colour, creativity and a little bit of Nintendo magic. 🍄⭐️

This creation was entered into The Pup Cup in Coffs Harbour, NSW, where Caspian and I were incredibly proud to take home 🥇 1st Place in Creative Grooming!

From sketching and mapping the design, to coat carving, hours of colour application and his prism rainbow tail 🌈 — there was so much that went into bringing this idea to life.

And as always, Caspian’s comfort and wellbeing came first, with the entire groom completed over several days with plenty of breaks, treats and cuddles. ❤️

✨ A little throwback to CC’s Creative Grooming Masterclass! Brisbane 24th May ✂️🎨🐾

Looking back through these photos makes me so proud of what this day became. ❤️

Creative grooming has been such a huge part of my own journey as a groomer — from stepping outside my comfort zone, entering competitions, making plenty of mistakes, learning new techniques and slowly developing my own way of approaching a creative design.

Being able to take everything I’ve learnt along the way and now share that knowledge with other groomers is something I genuinely love.

During this workshop we explored everything from planning and mapping a design, structure, balance and placement, through to coat carving, colour, techniques and actually putting those ideas into practice. 🎨✂️

But one of my favourite parts will always be the hands-on learning. Seeing everyone take an idea, experiment with it and start creating something of their own is exactly why I wanted to teach creative grooming in the first place.

There is no single “right” way to be creative.

It’s about understanding the foundations, building confidence in your technique and then finding your own creative style. 💗

Thank you again to every groomer who came along, asked questions, got involved and trusted me to share a little piece of my creative world with you.
