Understanding canine body language. All of pics of tails are not a good sign. Always read your dog and the other dog, one wrong move here and there is a fight. Unfortunately some people misinterpret a gentle wagging tail as a happy sign, and then surprised that their dog is attacked.

READING YOUR DOGS BODY LANGUAGE: TAILS :
One of the best ways to read and understand your dog is their tail . Not all wagging tails are a good sign. Moving tail side to side ( looks like wagging ) actually means the dog is stressed , unsure. At this point your dog’s next reaction can go either way. Straight up and out - on guard.
Rotating- happy and playful.
Between the legs - fearful/ highly stressed.
Down - relaxed, comfortable.
Pointed and stiff- aggression.
