Mark your calendars: the Santa Gertrudis World Congress is coming to Queensland, Australia, August 3-12, 2027, marking 75 years of the breed's success in Australia.

"Honouring our History, Advancing Our Future" will bring breeders together from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, South America, and Africa for a multi-day, multi-location celebration of what this breed has built globally, from genetics and production to the relationships that got us here.

The program will run across Northern NSW and southern Queensland, through Brisbane, the Darling Downs, and west to Roma, so there's plenty of country to see alongside the events.

Stay tuned for program details and how to be part of it.

Eatons Hill Siska is back on the market. She is a horse that needs a rider that is a confident leader. She is for sale by her new owner who hasn’t clicked with her. Shame, she’s such a fun horse and to the right home would be a horse that would excel at both endurance and working equitation. PM and will give owners details to you.

An early morning horse ride is such an awesome way to start the day!

Santa Gertrudis breeders- anyone had this white patch occur on one of your calves. Understandable it will be unregistered but never seen it occur before. The cow has no a stitch of white on her. I figured it was a throw back to the shorthorn.
