This is one of the hardest posts I've put up, but here we go. Some of you may remember my dad. When he retired he never wanted to be at home. He always wanted to be out on the road so it just made sense that he came out doing deliveries with me. He spend most of his life driving his trucks and loved every minute of it. He loved coming out chatting with everyone even joking around. Not many people know but even helped me to get me started and grow the business. We started with just a ute and a trailer and very quickly grew into a little truck and trailer. He even wanted to come down to help collect water no matter what time of the day or night even after I said to him "rest up dad, your retired now. Take it easy" but he would never listen. If I was heading down at 3 in the morning he was already up, dressed ready to go before I was up. No matter what I did he was always there, He just loved every minute of it. I think mum enjoyed it too as it gave her some peace time at home. 😆 Almost 8 years ago I had to make the hard decision to stop him coming out on deliveries after he was diagnosed with parkinsons disease 10 years ago. Everyday I got home he would ask how it all went, I think he just loved to be involved with every part of the business and watching it grow even after going into the care facility in 2019. Most nights he was on the phone to get updates of what was going on. At that stage the business grew to the point I needed a bigger truck but little did he know I would endup buying a mack. Dad spent 30 years working for shell petroleum in Victoria with most off his time driving his mack. Who would have known that after years of driving his mack (following a dog's arse because of the bulldog hood ornament) that I would endup doing the same. 😂😂 I think he would have loved to have been sitting in a mack again. On Sunday morning dad passed away nice and peacefully. For those that are interested to go to his funeral to pay your final respects just let me know and I'll keep in touch with you with the details. Dad really appreciated all of the support from customers and friends of the salt water community, and so do I.

Well. Last delivery almost done for the year. I'd like to thank all those who have supported us over the years, making this one of the biggest years we've had with millions of litres of natural sea water delivered. We have been so busy this year we didn't even have a chance to celebrate 10 years in operation. With that being said I hope you enjoy the evening to bring in the new year. Let's make the next year just as big as this one. Stay safe, enjoy and will see you in the new year.
