This week, we'd love to re-introduce a familiar face to many of our wonderful clients - Nadia, our Practice Manager! 💙

With a background in veterinary nursing and grooming, Nadia is passionate about supporting pets and the people who love them. She brings kindness, experience, and a friendly smile to everything she does. Whether she's helping behind the scenes or welcoming clients through the door, Nadia is dedicated to making every visit a positive one.

🌷 Favourite part of the job: Supporting people by caring for the pets who mean the world to them

🧶 Fun fact: Outside of work, Nadia loves crocheting and making adorable outfits for her furry family! - Ozzy (Moodle), and her three rescue cats - Willow, Mika, and Kirby.

We're so lucky to welcome Nadia back to the Albion Vet family as our Practice Manager. Her compassion, experience, and dedication make her a wonderful support for both our clients and our team, and we can't wait for everyone to get to know her (or welcome her back!).

💙 A Heartfelt Farewell to Deb 💙

Today we say goodbye to someone who has been an incredibly important part of the Albion Vet Surgery family.

Deb, thank you for your dedication, hard work, kindness and unwavering commitment to our team, our clients and the many pets entrusted to our care. As our Practice Manager, you’ve been the steady hand behind the scenes, the friendly face everyone could count on, and someone who always put the needs of the clinic first.

Your commitment went far beyond the normal workday. Whether it meant staying back late into the evening to help with emergency cases, supporting the team through busy and challenging days, or simply being there whenever you were needed, you always gave your time so generously. Your willingness to go above and beyond never went unnoticed and is something we’ll always be grateful for.

You’ve helped create a workplace built on compassion, teamwork and genuine care, and your influence will continue to be felt long after your last day. While we’re incredibly sad to see you go, we’re also so excited for the next chapter of your journey.

💙 Farewell, Madi 💙

It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye tomorrow to our incredible vet nurse, Madi, as she embarks on her next adventure.

Madi has been an invaluable part of our team, bringing compassion, dedication, and kindness to every patient, client, and colleague she has worked with. Her gentle nature, infectious smile, and unwavering love for animals have made a lasting impact on our clinic and the countless pets she has cared for.

Throughout her time with us, Madi has been a foundation for our placement students, helping them learn, grow, and thrive as they begin their journeys in the veterinary industry. She has generously shared her knowledge and experience, always taking the time to mentor and support those around her.

Madi has also been an incredible asset to our veterinarians, particularly during emergencies and complex procedures, where her skill, calm presence, and quick thinking have been invaluable. No matter the challenge, she has consistently stepped up with professionalism and dedication, making a difference to both her colleagues and patients alike.

Beyond her clinical skills, Madi has been the heart of so much of our clinic culture. She always knew how to make the team laugh with her humor, quick wit, and endless jokes, bringing smiles even on the busiest and most challenging days. She also helped foster a sense of community within our clinic, creating and maintaining the photo wall down the hallway—a collection of memories that reflects the friendships, teamwork, and family spirit she helped build.

While we are sad to see her go, we are so grateful for everything she has contributed to our team, and we couldn't be more excited for what the future holds for her.

🐾 Exciting News – Basic Grooming Services Are Here! 🛁✨

We're excited to let our wonderful clients know that we are now offering basic grooming services at our clinic! 💙

Whether your furry friend is due for a freshen-up or just needs a little extra TLC, we're here to help keep them looking and feeling their best.

Our basic grooming services include:
🐶 Bathing (shampoo and conditioner)
✂️ Nail trims
👂 Ear cleaning (at an extra cost)
🪮 Brush outs
🐾 Hygiene trims (where appropriate)

Regular grooming isn't just about looking good, it also helps maintain healthy skin and coats, reduces matting, and gives us the opportunity to spot any health concerns early.
