Happy 15th Birthday Hammer 💕🐾

Hammer is a pretty special part of our clinic 💗 After many visits to help manage his health, this little man has shown just how tough he is every step of the way, with his very dedicated mum by his side throughout his journey.

Today, we get to celebrate a very special milestone, Hammer is turning 15! 🥳🎂 What a testament to his resilience and the love and care he receives.

Poor mobility is one of the biggest challenges for our senior pets! In consults we talk a lot about arthritis and pain management but there is more to supporting mobility in our Golden oldies. Strength and good muscle mass is very important in making sure our pets can get themselves up and move around easily. Simple things can make a big difference!

🥾 Non slip booties can improve a pets ability to move around, especially if you have polished floors.
🏃 Physical therapy can really improve their strength and mobility but weight bearing exercises can be tough on their joints.

Claude is one of our patients who is enjoying his time on the underwater treadmill with the incredible team at Ellen. Helping to improve his strength and keep his mobility going strong 💪 🐕

A little bit of Barney has officially made his way into our reception area!

The incredibly talented local artist Laura from ButtonCuteArt has created the sweetest drawing of Nurse Brittney’s little Cavoodle Barney. We’re absolutely in love with it 🥹✨

We are sad 😢 Today marks the last day of our wonderful Head Nurse Senni ❤️

For the past 2.5 years, Senni has been such an integral part of our Chelmer Graceville team. She has given so much to our clinic, our patients, our clients and most importantly the people around her. Her kindness, knowledge, humour and friendship will be incredibly missed.

Thankfully, this isn’t a complete goodbye! Senni will still be joining us for the occasional shift, so we’ll get to see her from time to time. A little soft launch into her exciting new career rather than a farewell forever 🥹

Senni, we’re so incredibly proud of you and excited to see what this next chapter brings. We wish you nothing but happiness and success in your new career ❤️
