🖤 A little glimpse into the incredible work of a wildlife carer.

One of our lovely customers shared this video of two tiny rescued birds in her care, and kindly gave us permission to share it with the Larvalicious community.

Wildlife carers put so much time, patience and love into giving vulnerable animals the best possible chance.

We’re grateful to everyone who quietly does this important work behind the scenes, and we’re honoured to support some of these carers through the animals they care for.

Thank you, Heather, for sharing these little ones with us. 🖤

📦🐛 Monday means the wrigglers are on their way!

Our live larvae and insects are packed up and heading out to their new homes - ready to make feeding time a little more exciting. 🦎🐓🐦

We send our live orders on Mondays and Tuesdays to give them the best chance of getting to you quickly and safely.

A little box of Larvalicious love, on its way to some very hungry pets. 💚

🐛 How are Larvalicious customers using their BSFL?

One of our customers has shared this fantastic Black Soldier Fly Larvae composting setup with us.

Rather than harvesting the larvae, she’s allowing them to climb out of the system and pupate naturally nearby, with the hope that the adult Black Soldier Flies will return to lay eggs and create a self-sustaining BSFL colony. 🌿

Once established, the plan is to use the system to help process food scraps that the worm farm can’t keep up with - turning waste into something useful in the garden.

We love seeing the different ways our customers use BSFL. 💚

🐦 Introducing Mimi the Magpie - our newest unpaid brand ambassador.

Mimi stopped by the farm, sampled some live BSFL and apparently decided she was qualified to promote them. 😂

Her payment terms are very reasonable: all compensation to be made in Black Soldier Fly Larvae.

We have to admit, her product demonstration is pretty convincing. 🐛💚

We may have accidentally hired our first farm influencer.
